COVID-19 Telehealth Program: Remote Healthcare Assistance
FluentStream is dedicated to helping our fellow businesses as much as possible during these difficult times. Part of that effort is passing along resources that can provide relief or information to our clients and fellow businesses. The COVID-19 Telehealth Program is a much-needed stimulus resource for health care providers struggling to give proper care.
As part of the CARES Act, the COVID-19 Telehealth Program will distribute $200 million in funding to health care providers so they can provide connected care services to patients at their homes or mobile locations in response to the novel Coronavirus 2019 disease (COVID-19) pandemic.
The COVID-19 Telehealth Program will provide immediate support to eligible health care providers by fully funding their telecommunications services, information services, and devices necessary to provide critical connected care services until the program’s funds have been expended or the COVID-19 pandemic has ended.
